Finances online showcased number regarding the employees turnover rate in the US in 2022 which was around 20%. This means that nearly 20% of the workforce in the US either change jobs/occupation or are removed from their current employment.
42.4% Unqualified Workforce in US
In 2021, the unqualified workforce in US was 40% of the overall population. These include people that had either little or no education. Today in 2022, it has increased to 42.4% of the entire population. For understanding, one twenty three million capable jobs are available in the US while only fifty million of those are occupied by US nationals.
17% Wage gap between males and females.
Initially, the pay gap between males and females was a lot higher. Recently it has improved a lot and the gap has decreased to a certain extent. However, in the US, the wage gap is still around 17%. In general, for every $100 a male makes, a female would only be able to make $20 in a generalized idea.
65% Employees in the US are Satisfied with their Job
Recently a job satisfaction survey was taken within the US. The statistic revealed that around 65% of the employees working today in the US are satisfied with their job. Among others, some of the most satisfying jobs were CEOs, nurses, roofers, cashiers, bartenders etc.
17% of the US population works on Part Time
Since the start of Covid, part time workers is starting to see a gradual Incline. In 2019, nearly 26.9M people used to work part time. This gradually dropped to 24.6M the following year. Since then, it has been on the incline and is currently at 25.4M part time workers. This figure constitutes 17% of the total population exclusive of the 63% of the US population works on Full-time jobs.
